Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 inch Ginger Fresh fresh
  • 1 lemon
  • honey
  • black tea bags optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Cut the lemon into two and extract the juice.
  2. Peel and slice ginger. Place ginger with water into a pot and heat up.
  3. Bring to a boil so that the ginger flavors get extracted into the water. Take from heat once you can see a rolling boil. If you have time, cover and leave to infuse.
  4. Strain the hot infused ginger water and discard ginger pieces.
  5. Pour lemon juice into the cup. Adjust quantity to your taste preference.
  6. Add a black tea bag to it if you like (optional).
  7. Add the desired quantity of honey.
  8. Enjoy your tea when it's still hot for the best effect.
