Ginger Limeade
Ginger and lime come together in this satisfying and refreshing Ginger Limeade. It’s not too sweet, and perfectly refreshing.
Ingredients
- 3 oz. ginger fresh
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lime juice fresh
- 34 oz seltzer water
Instructions
- Peel the ginger, then cut into coins.
- To a small saucepan, add the water, sugar, and ginger coins. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove the pan fro the heat and add the lime juice. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to steep and combine.
- Once the mixture has steeped, strain into a jar with a lid or a lidded container. Refrigerate until completely cold.
- To serve, add ice to 5 glasses. Add about 1/4 cup of the syrup to each glass, then top with about 7 ounces of seltzer water each. Stir gently. Serve with additional lime slices, if desired.
