Gingerbread White Russian

This Gingerbread White Russian will make your holiday dreams come true. A simple homemade gingerbread syrup combined with classic Kahlua and vodka create a new twist on a classic you won't want to miss!

Ingredients

Gingerbread Syrup:
  • 1/4 Cup honey
  • 3 Tablespoons molasses
  • 1 Tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 Teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cocktail:
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz Kahlúa
  • 2 oz Gingerbread Syrup
  • 2 oz heavy cream
  • Cinnamon sticks and gingerbread cookies for garnish
Rim garnish:
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon ground
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar granulated

Instructions

Gingerbread Syrup:
    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium pot, add 1 1/3 cup water, honey, molasses, ginger and cinnamon.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. Boil 3-5 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  5. Stir in the vanilla.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Cocktail:
  1. Dip the rim of the glass in a small amount of the syrup and then dip the rim into the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Add the vodka, Kahlua, and gingerbread syrup to cocktail shaker.
  4. Shake to combine. .
  5. Pour into your glass.
  6. Add the heavy cream and stir.
  7. Garnish with cinnamon and gingerbread cookies.
