Goat Cheese Honey Fig Grilled Cheese
Fresh figs are drizzled in honey and paired with goat cheese in this decadent goat cheese fig grilled cheese sandwich recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh figs chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lemon zested
- 1 loaf French bread cut into 12 slices
- 6 oz goat cheese
- 6 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Add the figs to a small mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the honey on top then zest one lemon into the honey figs.
- Prepare the sandwiches by spreading 1/2 tbsp of butter on one side of each slice of bread then spread the other side with 1/2 tbsp of goat cheese.
- Add 1/4 cup of the fig mixture on top of half the slices of bread. Top with the other slices of bread.
- Place in skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
