Gochujang Sauce - easy to make!

Korean gochujang sauce uses a popular chili paste condiment for a sweet and spicy dipping sauce, or drizzle it over veggies and rice dishes.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp Gochujang paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 tsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tsp sesame oil divided
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang paste, honey, rice vinegar and 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
  2. To a small saucepan over low heat, add 1 tablespoon sesame oil and the minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring to prevent garlic from burning.
  3. Stir in gochujang paste mixture and increase heat to medium-high; bringing sauce to a simmer. Remove from heat and cool gochujang sauce before using.
