Grandma's Lasagna
Grandma's Lasagna recipe proves that you don’t have to be an expert cook to make an absolutely delicious lasagna. Comfort food at its finest!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14.5 oz diced tomatoes *drained
- 24 oz spaghetti sauce
- 2 cloves garlic *minced
- 1 lb cottage cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese *shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 box lasagna noodles
Instructions
- Brown meat and drain. Add in garlic, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, salt & pepper to taste. Simmer about 25-30 minutes.
- Take a 9×13 pan and put in a couple tablespoon of sauce in the bottom to prevent sticking. Place 4-5 lasagna noodles in baking pan.
- Cover with 1/3 sauce. Top with 1/2 the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 of the cottage cheese. Repeat layers starting with noodles, and ending with sauce on last layer of cheese.
- Top with grated or shredded Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand for about 10 minutes prior to serving.
