Grapefruit Mint Chia Refresher

Ingredients

chia base
  • 2 cups water
  • 3  tablespoons chia seeds
grapefruit mint refresher
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed grapefruit juice cold
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup cold soda water

  1. Prep the chia base the day before or even just 2 hours before. Place the water and chia in a jar. Cover and shake it well. Stick it in the fridge and shake it every 30 minutes, about 3 or 4 times. Here’s your chia base! Easy as that.

  1. In a large pitcher, stir together the chia base, grapefruit juice, honey and mint leaves. Stir until the honey mixes into the juice and water. Pour in the soda water and gently stir. Serve immediately with an extra garnish of mint.
