Grasshopper Pie

Easy 4-ingredient Grasshopper Pie combines a refreshing mint filling with a rich chocolate cookie crust for a deliciously decadent dessert!

Ingredients

  • 9 inch Oreo cookie crust
  • 2 cups marshmallow creme
  • ¼ cup Creme de Menthe
  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat marshmallow creme and creme de menthe together until smooth and well-combined.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Pour mixture into the crust.
  6. Freeze at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. For easier cutting, remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Oreo cookie crust: A store-bought crust or a homemade Oreo pie crust will work.
  • Marshmallow creme: The marshmallow cream adds sweetness and stability. It takes the place of using gelatin for structure.
  • Crème de menthe: The liqueur gives the pie flavor and color. I've given a nonalcoholic substitute above the recipe.
