Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsalted butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup Almond meal or Walnuts finely chopped
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Beat butter until creamy and fluffy. Slowly add powdered sugar followed by the vanilla and brandy.
  2. Gradually add flour, then fold in the almonds or walnuts.
  3. Use a teaspoon amount and shape into balls or ovals.
  4. Place onto lined cookie sheets, the cookies will not spread but still space them apart about 1 inch.
  5. Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes in a preheated at 350 degrees.
  6. Once baked, coat the cookies in powdered sugar.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
