Greek Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

Greek Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps are lighter versions of gyros or tacos served in lettuce wraps instead of a pita or tortilla! They fit into your healthy low-carb, Paleo, and gluten-free diets.

Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce package Honeysuckle White Ground Turkey
  • 2 teaspoons store bought or homemade Greek seasoning*
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic 
  • 12 leaves of butter lettuce or bibb lettuce
  • 1/2 red onion chopped
  • 1 large cucumber chopped
  • 24 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Feta cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Sprinkle Greek seasoning on the turkey and cook about 5 minutes more. Add garlic and cook about a minute longer. Remove from heat.
  2. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving platter. Add about 2 tablespoons of the ground turkey mixture in each of the lettuce leaves.
  3. Top each Greek Turkey Taco Lettuce Wrap with chopped red onions, chopped cucumbers, chopped tomatoes (halved cherry tomatoes), and crumbled feta cheese.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • * You could substitute Italian Seasoning instead of Greek Seasoning.
