Greek Yogurt Frosting combines cream cheese and vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt whipped together into a fluffy blend, flavored with vanilla extract and sweetened with powdered sugar. This frosting has a light yet creamy texture, offering tanginess balanced with sweetness, ideal for topping cakes, cupcakes, or even enjoyed by the spoonful.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese 2 packages) at room temperature, light
- 1 cup Greek yogurt vanilla flavor
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract pure
- 2 cups powdered sugar (200 grams)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese and yogurt on high speed until fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
- Set the mixer on low speed and gradually add in the powdered sugar until it's well combined. Return to high speed and beat for 2-3 minutes until the frosting is fluffy.
