Green Chutney (Cilantro Mint Chutney)

This easy, no-fuss, vibrant green chutney is made with fresh cilantro (coriander), mint and green chilies and is ready within 2 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mint leaves loosely packed
  • 1 cup fresh coriander with tender stems
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ¾ teaspoon black salt
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add everything to a mini blender (or a food processor if making in bulk), along with 3-4 tablespoon of water if required and blend till everything turns into a smooth paste.
  2. Pour in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for upto 1 week. You can also freeze for up to 3 months in ice cube trays.
  3. Whisk in yogurt before serving or enjoy as it is!

Notes

  • This chutney can serve around 4-6 people.
  • You can add yogurt to it to lessen its intensity.
