Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup parsley finely chopped, fresh
  • 3 tablespoons chives or green onions; finely minced; fresh
  • 2 tablespoons anchovy paste
  • 3 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ teaspoon mustard powder dry
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced or grated

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to combine.
  2. Optional: Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend for a uniform green color.

Notes

  • This makes a very thick dressing. If you prefer a thinner dressing, try adding buttermilk about 2 tablespoons at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Makes about 2 cups of dressing. Will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 2 weeks.
