Green Goddess Dressing

How to make the real Green Goddess dressing, the San Francisco version that has anchovy paste, chives, parsley, tarragon and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder dry
  • 2-3 teaspoons anchovy paste to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tarragon dry
  • 2-3 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chives minced, or scallions
  • 1/3 cup flat leaf parsley minced
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all of the ingredients together in a blender, or in a bowl. Add in the first 8 ingredients, mixing together. Taste, then add in more anchovy paste or white wine vinegar as desired.
  2. Add in the chives and the parsley. Blend until you have a smooth dressing using the blender or an immersion blender in the bowl.
  3. Pour into a lidded container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • The anchovy paste should be adjusted to your liking, as well as the white wine vinegar.
