Green Goddess Dressing
How to make the real Green Goddess dressing, the San Francisco version that has anchovy paste, chives, parsley, tarragon and more!
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder dry
- 2-3 teaspoons anchovy paste to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon tarragon dry
- 2-3 teaspoons white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup chives minced, or scallions
- 1/3 cup flat leaf parsley minced
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients together in a blender, or in a bowl. Add in the first 8 ingredients, mixing together. Taste, then add in more anchovy paste or white wine vinegar as desired.
- Add in the chives and the parsley. Blend until you have a smooth dressing using the blender or an immersion blender in the bowl.
- Pour into a lidded container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
- The anchovy paste should be adjusted to your liking, as well as the white wine vinegar.
