Green Tea & Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • ¼ cup peeled and roughly chopped fresh ginger
  • 3 to 6 green tea bags
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium pot, combine the water and ginger. Bring to a boil, then remove from the heat and add the tea bags and mint leaves. Cover and steep for about 15 minutes.
  2. Using a fine-mesh sieve, strain out the ginger, tea, and mint and discard. Add the honey and vinegar to the tea and stir to combine.
  3. Transfer to a pitcher and let cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
