Grilled Broccoli
Grilled Broccoli features bite-sized pieces of broccoli seasoned simply with salt and pepper, topped with butter, and cooked in a foil packet over medium-high heat. This method steams the broccoli gently, providing tender stalks with some smoky notes from the grill. The butter adds richness to the vegetable's naturally bright flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. broccoli
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Spray a large piece of aluminum foil with a non-stick cooking spray.
- Chop up your broccoli into bite size pieces and place on the center of the aluminum foil.
- Season with salt and pepper and top with butter.
- Fold the foil around the broccoli to make a foil pack.
- Grill over medium high heat for approximately 8-10 minutes (flipping part way) depending on how tender you like your broccoli.
Notes
- If you prefer, the broccoli can be roasted in a 400°F oven for 10-12 minutes until tender.
