Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 pound chicken tenderloin
  • vegetable oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Whisk together water, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Place the marinade in a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add chicken to the marinade bag, seal, and ensure all pieces are well coated. Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes and up to 8 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat (375°F). Oil the grill and cook chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Transfer cooked chicken tenders to a plate, cover with foil, and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
