Grilled Flank Steak

Juicy, tender, and easy to make, this grilled flank steak takes just a few minutes to prepare. After marinating, it only takes about ten minutes to grill this flank steak for dinner! It’s so simple, yet incredibly flavorful!

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic smashed
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 to 3 prigs rosemary
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 1½ to 2 pounds flank steak

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl or container, add the olive oil, smashed garlic cloves, soy sauce, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, rosemary, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel. Add the flank steak to the marinade and give it a good mix so it’s well-coated. Cover and marinate in the fridge for one to two hours.
  3. Heat the grill to 450F.
  4. Grill the flank steak (shake off any extra marinade) on direct heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side, keeping the grill lid closed between flips.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and allow to rest for at least five minutes before slicing. If possible, cover with foil.
