Ingredients

  • 4 yellow onion large
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ground

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 450°F.
  2. Peel the onions and cut them into 1/2-inch thick rounds, being careful to keep the rings intact.
  3. Brush both sides of the onion rounds with olive oil and season with kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the onion rounds on the grill and cook for about 10 minutes per side, or until they have nice grill marks and are tender.
  5. Transfer the grilled onions to a serving plate and enjoy as a delicious addition to your meal.
