Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500g) pork chop
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon cilantro stems minced
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk

  1. Rinse the pork chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Set aside.
  2. Take a bowl and mix the remaining ingredients together to form a marinade.
  3. Transfer the pork chops to a sealable plastic bag and slowly pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are nicely coated. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the grill and brush a little oil on the surface of the pork chops. Grill the pork chops, turning them over several times, until cooked through. Serve immediately.
