Grilled Salmon Marinade Recipe
This marinade adds amazing flavor to grilled salmon. It’s a delicious combination of salty, tart, and savory flavors that pair exceptionally well with salmon.

Ingredients
- 4 salmon filets
- 3 tbsp olive oil divided
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves minced
Instructions
Marinate the Salmon
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of oil and the soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, and garlic.
- Place the marinade into a resealable bag.
- Add the salmon and gently massage to coat. Marinate for 1-3 hours in the fridge.
- Remove the salmon from the fridge 30 minutes before it’s time to cook.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and allow the excess marinade to drain.

Grill the Salmon
- Brush the BBQ grills with oil and preheat to medium heat.
- Drizzle the salmon with oil and place onto the grill flesh side down.
- Cook for about 3 minutes or until golden. Gently turn to the other side with tongs.
- Brush the flesh with some of the basting sauce and then close the BBQ lid.
- Cook for 3 - 4 minutes, basting one more time halfway through, or until the internal temperature is between 125°-130°F.
- Transfer the salmon to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Serve and enjoy!
