Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Grilled Sweet Potatoes are easy to make and wonderfully crispy and charred on the outside and fluffy inside. Try these at your next cookout!

Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potatoes , cut into 1/2" thick slices
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 350 degrees
  2. Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Place the potato slices on the baking sheet skin side down to allow for even cooking.
  5. Grill for 6-8 minutes.
  6. Flip the potatoes, cook about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from the pan, brush with remaining oil from the bowl and place onto the grill.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes until the potatoes get grill marks, flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
