Ingredients
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- green food coloring oil based
- 6-8 oz White Almond Bark
- 16 heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Start by lining an 8×8 square pan with parchment paper then set aside for later.
- In a medium saucepan combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt.
- Turn the heat into medium and stir all the ingredients together until they are almost melted.
- Take the chocolate mixture off of the heat and continue to stir until all the ingredients have fully melted and smooth.
- Add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix again until the vanilla is fully incorporated into the chocolate mixture.
- Add 4 to 5 drops of green food coloring.
- Once the fudge is to a color you like, pour it into the prepared 8×8 parchment lined pan.
- Let the fudge sit at room temperature for 4-6 hours or until it has fully set.
- Take the parchment paper by 2 sides and pull it out of the pan. Next cut the fudge into 16 pieces.
- Place the almond bark into a microwave safe bowl and melt the almond bark in 30 second increments until it is fully melted. Stir each 30 seconds.
- AFter the almond bark has fully melted, add 4 to about 5 drops of green food coloring.
- Put the melted almond bark into a ziploc bag and cut a small corner of the bag to drizzle the almond bark over the fudge.
- Drizzle the fudge with the green almond bark, then while the chocolate is still wet, immediately put a heart on the top.
- Once the almond bark is completely cooled, it is ready to serve.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Skip the drizzle if you prefer. In this case, you would add the hearts before placing the fudge in the fridge to harden in the first place so the hearts are stuck to the Grinch fudge as it chills.
- Add peppermint extract in place of vanilla for a minty kick.
- Be sure to line your pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Not only does it prevent sticking but it’s much easier to lift for slicing and serving.
- Wipe the knife blade clean in between each cut. Using a clean sharp knife is how you get clean edges for each piece of Grinch fudge.
- Store any leftover Grinch fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks!
