Ground Beef Quesadillas Recipe

This tasty recipe for ground Beef quesadillas is packed with tender ground Beef and oozing with melty cheese. Great for dipping, sharing, and snacking!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 8 oz Mexican cheese shredded
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 4 tbsp oil avocado or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large heavy bottomed skillet. Add in the Ground Beef and brown it, breaking it apart into smaller pieces as you go.
  2. Season the Beef with salt and taco seasoning. Next, add in the onion and sauté it until it's translucent.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook the mixture for a minute longer. Remove the skillet from heat.
  4. Preheat a separate pan with a bit of oil. Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle half of it with cheese, followed by a spoonful of the ground Beef and a bit more cheese.
  5. Fold the tortilla over and cook it on both sides until the cheese is melted and the quesadillas are golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
