Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 carrots sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
- Add onion, bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, carrots, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef and vegetables in the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
