Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, carrots, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef and vegetables in the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
