																							Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
 - ½ onion diced
 - 2 teaspoon minced garlic
 - 16 ounces sliced mushrooms
 - ¼ cup all purpose flour
 - 2 cups beef broth
 - 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
 - ½ cup sour cream
 - egg noodles for serving
 - fresh chopped parsley for serving

Instructions
- Brown the ground beef with the diced onions in a large skillet over medium high heat. Break up the beef as it browns, until it’s no longer pink. Drain off the excess grease.
 - Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until aromatic.
 - Add in the sliced mushrooms and cook for a few minutes.
 - Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
 - Add in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir and bring the mixture to a low boil.
 - Reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the mushrooms are the tenderness that you prefer.
 - If serving with egg noodles, cook them al dente based on the package instructions.
 - Remove the beef mixture from the heat and stir in the sour cream until heated through and combined.
 - Serve over the egg noodles topped with the fresh parsley (if using) and enjoy!

																Notes
- I prefer softened mushrooms, so I generally cook closer to 20 minutes once the mushrooms have been added but if you prefer firmer mushrooms, cook just for 15 minutes.
 - Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. This is great served over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
 - I prefer using ground beef in this recipe, you can substitute with another type of ground meat if you prefer such as ground turkey, ground pork or ground chicken.
