For the seasoning:
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika sweet
  • ¾ teaspoon sage dried, rubbed
  • ⅜ teaspoon salt
  • ⅜ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅜ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon cumin ground
For the ground turkey:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil mild
  • 1 pound ground turkey (I used 85 percent lean)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

For the seasoning:
    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix all seasoning ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
For the ground turkey:
  1. Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan on high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the turkey and cook until no longer pink and starting to brown on the edges (4 to 6 minutes)*. Break up the meat with a spatula during the process.
  3. Turn the heat down to medium, then stir in the seasoning, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and water. Cook until fully combined (about 1 minute).
