- For the best guacamole chicken salad, we recommend using rotisserie chicken. It's already cooked and seasoned, making it a time-saver and flavor booster.
- Fresh Guacamole: Use fresh homemade guacamole for this salad. The freshness of the avocados and other ingredients will make a big difference.
- Don't forget to season your salad with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. These simple seasonings can elevate the flavors of your salad.
- When combining the chicken with the guacamole, gently fold them together. This will keep the chicken from breaking down too much and the guacamole from becoming too mushy.
- This salad is versatile and can be served in various ways. Try it in sliced bread, pitas, over baguette slices, or with chips for a delicious meal or snack. We love serving it this way alongside other tasty tips such as Pico De Gallo, Restaurant Style Salsa, or Black Bean Corn Salsa.
- If you're planning to serve this later, store the chicken and guacamole separately in the fridge. Combine them just before serving to keep the salad fresh and prevent it from becoming soggy.
- If you find your salad too thick or a bit dry, you can add a little lime juice or some extra guacamole to moisten it.
