  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 3 ounces white rum
  • 8 ounces guava nectar
  • soda water
  • Mint sprigs to garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In two highball glasses, muddle the sugar, mint sprigs, and lime juice.
  2. Add ice, then pour in 1.5 ounces of rum into each glass.
  3. Pour 4 ounces of guava nectar into each glass.
  4. Top each mojito off with sparkling water/soda water.
  5. Give a gentle stir with a mixer spoon and serve garnished with mint.

Notes

  • To make the most excellent pitcher of mojitos, you'll have to use simple syrup. Which is a really simple 1:1 sugar and water mixture, but add the mint leaves into it as it simmers to infuse it with all that good mint flavor without having to muddle a ton of mint leaves.
  • Then you add that to 2 cups of white rum, a cup of that bubbly water, half a cup of lime juice, a cup of guava nectar, and plenty of ice. Stir it up and serve!
  • To make this cocktail into a mocktail, omit the rum and add more guava nectar or bubbly water! So simple and so delish!
