Habanero Sauce Recipe

Be Very Careful With Any Sauce Containing Habaneros - It Will Be Hot

Ingredients

  • 1 large red bell pepper roughly chopped
  • 1 fresh habanero pepper dried works too
  • 1 large shallot minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the bell and habanero peppers, or grind the habaneros if using dried).
  2. Roughly chop the onion and garlic.
  3. Bring all of the ingredients to a boil, and then simmer for 8 minutes.
  4. Finally, puree the mixture in a blender.
