  • 1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite or 7UP, cold
  • 1 quart orange sherbet

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a small pot over medium-high heat, bring 1 cup pineapple juice to a boil. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool. Transfer to a large container.
  2. Add orange juice and remaining pineapple juice. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Just before serving, pour into a large punch bowl, add Sprite and mix well. Top with scoops of sherbet.

Notes

  • Make It Festive:
  • o Fill a rubber glove with water and freeze it. When ready to serve, add the rubber glove to the punch bowl and you’ll have a floating hand keeping things cool.
  • o Serve the punch from a black cauldron. This is especially fun when you use dry ice!
  • o To make it extra-festive, serve in clear cups and draw pumpkin faces on the outside.
  • Variations: For a green Halloween version, use lime gelatin in place of the orange gelatin, limeade in place of the orange juice and lime sherbet in place of the orange sherbet to make it a festive Witch’s Brew.
