Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Ham and cheese pinwheels are a classic sandwich that are so easy to make and are perfect for so many occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 heet lavash bread
  • 1 Tbsp butter or mayo, good quality
  • 10 lices ham
  • 6 oz havarti cheese
  • 10 leaves lettuce optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the lavash bread on a board, and spread with butter or mayo (if desired.)
  2. Layer ham and cheese and (optional) lettuce.
  3. Roll tightly, and seam side down, cut into four equal pieces.
  4. Secure with sandwich picks, and serve or refrigerate.

Notes

  • Leave a short edge with about 1" of empty space and start rolling from the opposite end as the ingredients tend to migrate to the edge.
  • Roll as tightly as possible without breaking the bread.
  • Tomatoes and wet ingredients are recommended in making pinwheels ahead of time.
  • DO NOT FREEZE.
