Ham Roll Ups

Ham Roll Ups are simple appetizers made by spreading whipped cream cheese onto slices of deli ham and rolling them up with dill pickle spears. The combination of creamy, salty, and tangy flavors along with the crunch of pickles creates a bite-sized savory snack or party finger food.

Ingredients

  • 16 lices (About 1 pound) deli ham see note 1, sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese see note 2, whipped
  • 8 dill pickles halved lengthwise and drained on paper towels (see note 3, spears

Instructions

  1. Working with one slice of ham at a time, lay ham on a flat surface. Spread evenly with cream cheese, going all the way to the edges.
  2. Place one pickle spear half on the short edge of the ham slice and roll tightly. Repeat with remaining ham, cream cheese, and pickles. Slice or serve whole.

Notes

  • Keep the roll ups chilled until serving to maintain texture and shape.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days.
  • Choose deli ham with uniform slices; alternatives like corned beef or turkey can be used.
  • Whipped cream cheese spreads more easily than block cream cheese but both work.
