Ham Salad Recipe

A classic Ham Salad recipe my 90+ year old grandmother has been making her whole life. Ham, pickles, onion, celery and mayo create the best sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ham thick sliced or large chunks of leftover ham
  • 1/2 cup celery finely diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles finely diced
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise real
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place ham in food processor and pulse until finely minced. Don't let it go so long that it starts to get pasty.
  2. Transfer to a large bowl and add remaining ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  3. Serve on bread as a sandwich or with crackers.

Notes

  • *taste before seasoning as ham can tend to be quite salty already.
