Hard Boiled Egg Chocolate Pudding

This viral Boiled Egg Chocolate Pudding will surprise you with how tasty it is and how easy it is to make. Just 5 ingredients and a quick whirr in the blender, and you'll have a protein-rich, creamy chocolate pudding made with hard-boiled eggs. It's grain-free, gluten-free and if you use almond milk instead of whole milk, it can be a dairy-free snack as well.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs *
  • 2/3 to 3/4 cup whole milk or added to desired consistency*
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until completely creamy and smooth, scraping down the bowl once or twice as needed. Add more milk for a creamier consistency.
  2. You can enjoy it right away, but for best flavor and texture, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for a few hours. It will thicken up slightly as it cools.

Notes

  • *Soft-boiled eggs will work as well, but be sure to cool the eggs in an ice water bath after they are cooked before you put them in the blender.
