Hash Brown Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shredded potatoes rinsed and drained of excess water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs room temperature

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix together the shredded potatoes, vegetable oil, minced garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, and eggs.
  2. Preheat the waffle iron.
  3. Spread half of the potato mixture onto the iron, once hot, creating an even layer. Close firmly.
  4. Cook for 12-15 minutes, until the hash browns have turned golden brown and crispy.
