Healing Ginger Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 green tea bags

Instructions

  1. Divide the ginger, lemon juice, and honey evenly among two tea cups.
  2. Place the water and cinnamon stick in a kettle; bring to a rolling boil, then remove from heat. Add tea bags to the hot water and steep for 4 minutes.
  3. Divide the water among the two tea cups, stir well, and serve.

Notes

  • Add more honey if you like a sweeter tea
