Ingredients
- 2 apples, sliced
- ½ cup of granola
- ½ cup of semi-sweet (non-dairy) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Slice the apples into spears.
- Melt the vegan chocolate chips in a microwave in 45-second increments. If it’s not melted, stir and try again. Keep a close eye to not burn the plant-based chocolate. It's easy to do!
- Dip the top of the slices lightly into the vegan chocolate and then immediately dip it in the granola. Put on a plate and enjoy, or throw in the refrigerator to chill.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Use cold apples. They make the best refreshing snack!
- Get the kids involved. Kids love snacking and this is a perfect example of a quick, healthy, and filling snack for little munchers. They can easily participate while preparing it - a great way to make memories!
- Use plain granola. A granola that doesn't have a lot of "extras" like nuts, fruit, seeds, etc. will stick better to the vegan chocolate.
