Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk can substitute any type of milk, unsweetened vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 Medjool date pitted, can add more for sweeter smoothie
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup ice cubes if banana is not frozen
  • ground flaxseed or chia seeds or protein powder, optional add-ins
