Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon
  • optional herbs for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the griddle to 375°F or set it to moderate heat. Lightly brush the griddle with oil.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper on all sides.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon skin-side down on the griddle. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently turn the salmon over with a spatula and cook the other side for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Serve with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkling of fresh herbs. Add more salt and pepper if needed.
