Ingredients

For the sauce
  • 3/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1 Chipotle Pepper in Adobo Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the cabbage
  • 1/4 head red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1/2 lime)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
For the burger
  • cooking spray, for greasing grill
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 4 Honeysuckle White Spinach & Kale Turkey Patties
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make the sauce: Add all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to an airtight container, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Make the cabbage: Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Prepare the grill: Spray your grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Or you could also put some olive oil on a paper towel and wipe the grill rack. Cover and preheat to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the burgers: Brush one side of the turkey patties with cooking oil and place on the grill rack, oiled side down. Cover and cook for 4 minutes. Brush the tops of the patties with cooking oil, flip them over and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Assemble the burgers: Spread 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce on the top and bottom of each bun. Top the bottom bun with a grilled turkey patty, add a handful of cabbage and then the top bun.

Notes

  • To cook burgers on the stovetop, preheat a saute pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Spray with cooking spray or olive oil, add turkey patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • You can store leftover chipotle sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
