Heart Shaped Pizza for Valentine's Day

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough Recipe or cut a heart from premade
  • Pizza Sauce homemade or store-bought
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.
  2. Prepare our pizza dough recipe (or cut out a heart shape from a store-bought premade pizza crust).
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut around the edges in the shape of a heart.
  5. Fold the edges up to make the edge of the crust and spread enough pizza sauce on top to cover the dough. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cut heart shapes out of the pepperoni (optional) and place then on top. Place the pizza on top of a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  7. Bake the pizza at 425F for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and reaches your desired level of doneness. Cut the pizza into wedges and serve warm.
