Ingredients
- Pizza Dough Recipe or cut a heart from premade
- Pizza Sauce homemade or store-bought
- shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 package sliced pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425F.
- Prepare our pizza dough recipe (or cut out a heart shape from a store-bought premade pizza crust).
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut around the edges in the shape of a heart.
- Fold the edges up to make the edge of the crust and spread enough pizza sauce on top to cover the dough. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cut heart shapes out of the pepperoni (optional) and place then on top. Place the pizza on top of a pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Bake the pizza at 425F for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and reaches your desired level of doneness. Cut the pizza into wedges and serve warm.
