Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 large egg , room temperature
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with baking spray.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and thyme.
- Add in the egg, milk and canola oil and whisk to combine.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top of the bread lightly springs back when pressed.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing from loaf pan.
