Per the "Label Rouge" legal designation, Herbes de Provence should only contain four herbs for a simple yet wonderfully fragrant and flavorful blend that is deliciously versatile. - 1 tablespoon dried summer savory
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender flowers (optional; not traditional in France, typically found only in blends marketed in North America)
Instructions
- Place all of the herbs in an airtight jar and shake to combine. Store the blend in a dark, cool place where it will keep for a few months.This makes just under 1/4 cup. Feel free to double, triple, etc if desired.
