Ingredients
DRY
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
WET
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 apple peeled, grated
TOPPINGS
- Whipped Cream
- Extra cinnamon
- pure maple syrup
Instructions
Get prepped
- Preheat the waffle iron.

Make the batter
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
- In a smaller bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and butter.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients, and mix in the eggs, milk and butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the apples.
Cook the Waffles
- Spray the waffle iron lightly with cooking spray (or brush with cooking spray)
- Cook in your waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Serve
- Remove from the waffle iron, top with whipped cream, extra cinnamon and sugar, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
- Devour.
