Homemade Apple Pie Spice is the best way to level up your baked goods throughout the fall and winter. Skip the store-bought blend, though, and make your own with whole spices for even stronger, fresher apple-spiced flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground star anise

Instructions

  1. Grind all the ingredients first.
  2. Combine in a mason jar, and stir or shake.
  3. Store in a dark, cool place or in your spice cabinet. Use in various fall baked goods!
