Homemade Boursin Cheese
Boursin cheese is soft, creamy, and bursting with herbal flavor. Its texture is similar to cream cheese, making it incredibly versatile. It shines as a dip, enhances pasta dishes, complements meats, enriches sauces and soups, and so much more!
Ingredients
- 14 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chive fresh
- 1 tablespoon parsley fresh
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
Instructions
- Add 14 ounces cream cheese, ½ cup butter, softened, 1½ teaspoons garlic powder, 1 tablespoon fresh chives, 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, ½ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon white pepper, and 3 tablespoons freshly grated parmesanto a large bowl.
- Mix using an electric hand mixer and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Line a small bowl with saran wrap. Spoon the cheese mixture into the saran wrap-lined bowl. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for 1 hour or until it holds its shape.
- Use for any recipe that calls for Boursin cheese. Or enjoy it as a spread for crackers or veggies!
