Homemade Cocktail Sauce Recipe
This Homemade Cocktail Sauce combines ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish for a tangy, slightly spicy condiment. Optional seasonings and hot sauce can be added to adjust heat and flavor. It's typically served chilled alongside seafood dishes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons horseradish adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon seasoning mix Optional, to taste, Stone House brand
- hot sauce Optional, to taste
Instructions
- Add the ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce (or coconut aminos), and horseradish to a bowl. Mix together until they are well combined. Taste and add more horseradish or hot sauce as desired. Add the Stone House Seasoning if you believe it is needed as well.
- Keep refrigerated.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 months, stirring before serving if ingredients settle.
- Make ahead and refrigerate or cover if serving within a couple of days.
- Freeze in a freezer-safe container for 6 to 12 months; thaw overnight in the refrigerator and stir before use.
