Homemade Cocktail Sauce without Horseradish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce or sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp ground celery seed powder
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper optional

  1. Are all ingredients ready? Let's begin!
  2. Start with adding 1 cup of ketchup.
  3. Next, pour a 3 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Add 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Add chili powder, ground celery seed powder, and freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Add ½ tsp hot sauce (or sriracha).
  7. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
  8. Serve in individual martini glasses or ramekins rimmed with cooked jumbo shrimp. Enjoy!
