Homemade Cranberry Sauce

This Homemade Cranberry Sauce is so easy, it can be made in 15 minutes, with only 3 ingredients, one of which is fresh cranberries, and tastes far better than the canned stuff.

Ingredients

  • 1 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries, rinsed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, dissolve 1 cup sugar in 1 cup water. Add all the cranberries and heat for about 10 minutes until most of the cranberries have popped.
  2. Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temperature. The cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. Transfer to a serving dish and either serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
